"Why don't you just get her a nice candle?"
How many times have you said this? I'll bet a few! It's certainly been said many-a-time in our household.
So how can you take the tried and tested, never let you down, go-to candle, but make it more thoughtful?! The answer is simple.
Sniff our their favourite candle.
Select their favourite candle - any brand is fine so long as it has glass or metal walls. Think fire safe people.
Recruit your little people.
Get the kids to either purpose-make, or select a recent piece of paper-based art that they're happy to trim down, to create the candle wrap. This art wrap will be glued around the glass or metal wall of your candle.
Trim. Trim. Trim.
Cut the art down to the desired width and required length based on the candle you've chosen to decorate.
And Glue.
That's it. Glue it on with a regular glue stick or PVA. You're done - it's really that easy to make candle gifting cooler.
