Reminder - the only art supplies you’ll need on hand for ALL 20 gifts is:

1. All The Colours Painter’s Parcel (or kids paint of equal quality)
2. Life of Colour Paint Pens (or similar)

Gift #5 – Magically Matted Frames

With your paint and paint pens already on hand, you’ll need:

1. Officeworks 8x6inch Photo Frame (or similar) - $8 
2. An unused 6x4inch mat you already have on hand OR thick white paper

Step 1

Open the frame backing and pull out the mat out ready for painting. Apply paint, making patterns or shapes of your choosing.

Step 2 

When the paint is dry, use your paint pens to add an extra layer of patterns, shapes and details. You could even try writing a special message or favourite quote for something a bit different!

Step 3

When everything is dry and you're happy with your masterpiece, have your 6x4inch photo or print on hand, and get ready to reassemble the frame. The painted mat should be first in (on top of the glass), followed by your spare 6x4inch mat (or plain white paper with a 6x4inch window cut in the middle). Lastly, place your photo or print in the middle and secure with tape so it doesn't slip.

And voila! Wrap it and gift it to someone you love!
